Ivonne Lira

Ivonne has been an advocate since 10 years ago when her son Joshua was diagnosed with a developmental disability. This led her to found a Hispanic support group for parents raising a child or children diagnosed with autism. This has allowed her to work with the Oklahoma Family Network as a Latino Family Support Partner providing emotional support and guidance to Hispanic families when their children are diagnosed with autism or a healthcare need. She also served the Latino community by educating and raising awareness about developmental disabilities.
