Event Details
One of the greatest challenges individuals living with a rare disease, their families, and patient advocates have is finding and accessing information and resources to help them advocate for themselves and their loved ones, as well as to raise awareness of issues facing others in the community.
To help alleviate these daily burdens and ensure individuals and advocates can navigate local and state-based resources, we will be hosting a State Resource Fair for the rare disease community to coincide with Rare Disease Day. There is no cost to participants to attend this event.

Stretched: Identify your stressors and use your new understanding of the 4 tendencies to build a stress relief plan
Please join us on Tuesday, March 21st at 6:30pm with Lauren Alvarez for the presentation entitled, ” Stretched.” This is about understanding the four tendencies to bring about stress relief. We will identify coping strategies for parents/educators based on how they score on the four tendencies online quiz. The 4 tendencies describe our typical personality motivation factors when it comes to change (inside pressure, external pressure, do my own thing…….). Based on personality tendencies, we will then build a plan for stress management that has a higher chance of success.
For questions, contact Erin Parks at [email protected]
