The Oklahoma Family Network (OFN) informs and connects individuals with special health care needs and disabilities, their families and professionals to services and supports in their communities. Our services are designed for any child who had to spend time in the NICU or was born premature, has physical disabilities or medical concerns (including cancer, rare or undiagnosed disorders, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Cystic Fibrosis, Down Syndrome, Mental Health Diagnoses, etc.), or mental or behavioral health concerns. Our staff has been through similar situations and it is our goal that no family goes through these things alone. We accomplish our goals through three main areas: Emotional Support, Information & Training, and Advocacy & Leadership.
- Resources
- Training (including our Care Notebook)
- Newsletters
- Joining Forces Conference
- Our advocacy in state in national levels
To accomplish these purposes, we invest in our programs like Children’s Behavioral Health Network, Children Fighting Childhood Cancer, and our NEST initiative for birth/newborn families. We also partner with National and Oklahoma agencies and programs, as well as local organizations.
