Rachelle Ali is a proud mother of 4 wonderful children and 3 grandchildren. Rachelle has successfully navigated the child welfare and various court systems and is excited and proud to be able to help others do the same. Rachelle is in recovery from SUD and mental health as well as a mother to children suffering from mental health issues. Rachelle Ali was the first Parent Mentor with Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma, Inc. Inaugural Parent Representation Defense Program, where she works as a part of an interdisciplinary team providing parent defense to parents who have lost their children to foster care.
Rachelle is an Advisory Board member of the Oklahoma Family Network’s Thriving Families Safer Children board; she is trained as a doula and a family/peer support specialist, and she is a role model and leader at Wings of Freedom, a sobriety living center in Tulsa, OK and an emerging activist lifting child welfare parent voice in Oklahoma. Rachelle has presented numerous presentations as a Parent Mentor. She desires to continue to expand her mentorship into many areas and has formed “Saving a Life Today Mentor, LLC” (S.A.L.T., LLC).
