Local AssistanceAssistance in Healthcare provides monthly financial assistance to households that include someone fighting cancer. Hannah’s Helping Hands provides financial assistance by providing gas cards and funding for bills. Hopestone in Bartlesville offers many events and groups to offer support to families who have been affected by cancer free of charge. Pierce Phillips Charity provides financial assistance to families who have a child on treatment for cancer. Kiley Kares provides support and activities to teens who have been diagnosed with cancer. They also provide all fighters with care packages. Random Acts of Purpose provides necessities such as paper towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, and toilet paper. Oklahoma Outdoor Outreach provides special hunts for kids who have illness or disabilities. Make A Wish provides a wish for children who have a life threatening condition. All children age 3+ who have had a cancer diagnosis qualify for to make a wish. Common wishes include to have something, to meet someone, or to go somewhere. |

Retreats/CampsCamp Strong is hosted by St. Francis Children’s Hospital for children ages 6-18 that have been diagnosed with cancer or a heart condition. The camp is held at Shepherd’s Fold Ranch in June each year. Hope’s Crossing is a day camp held at Camp Loughridge for campers who need more one on one help. Campers are paired with a counselor to help them throughout the day. Blue Skies Ministry provides week long retreats for the whole family in Florida for families who have had a child diagnosed with cancer. |
